Writer's Resources

Inspiration is created, not found.

If you are visiting this page, you probably have a story in mind or you have a story on paper. Maybe you're already a successful author just poking around to see what other authors are saying.  Either way, I hope this page will be helpful.

In the end, the best advice anyone can give you about any kind of writing is to study the craft. This is as true of non-fiction as it is of fiction. True, each form of writing has its own skill set.  But unless you are a student of the craft, you will probably continue to write stories (both fiction and non- fiction) that few people will read.  Be encouraged. You know far more than you think you do, and you have already absorbed much that you need to know. Still, a study of the craft will open up new horizons for you and elevate your writing above the rest of the crowd.
